Stefan Betzold is Managing Director Digital and Chief Product Marketing Officer at Bauer Media Group, where he is responsible for monetising digital reach, developing new business models, and driving the growth and profitability of the digital media business in the UK and Germany. His career in digital media spans more than 20 years, from fast‑growing digital ventures to leading European media houses. Before joining Bauer, he was Co‑Founder and Managing Director of Evernest, helping to build a leading proptech scale‑up in the German real estate industry. Until 2020, he served as Managing Director at Axel Springer and BILD, overseeing the digital business of German media brands including BILD, WELT and Computerbild. Since 2009, he has held various leadership roles focused on the digital transformation of BILD and other major news brands within the Axel Springer portfolio.
